Robert Bell appointed president and CEO of International Nickel Ventures
TORONTO, ON – July 31, 2007 – International Nickel Ventures Corporation (TSX:INV) (“INV” or “Company”) is pleased to announce, effective July 30, 2007, the appointment of Robert Bell to the Company’s Board of Directors and to the position of President and CEO.
Jim Clucas, the Company’s current Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer (“CEO”) will relinquish the President and CEO roles to Bob Bell, but will continue as the Company’s Chairman.
Bob graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1980 with a B.Sc. in geology and is a professional geologist with over 30 years experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining INV, Bob spent over 27 years working for Inco Limited, now CVRD Inco. For the past several years, Bob directed CVRD Inco’s exploration efforts in South America, Australia, and Africa. During his extensive career with CVRD Inco, Bob explored in Brazil and Canada as well as in the U.S.A., Peru, Indonesia, Turkey and Greenland. Bob has extensive experience working in partnership with Canadian and Australian junior resource companies as well as in joint ventures with senior mining companies.
Jim Clucas stated “I am delighted to have Bob Bell join the INV team”. He added “Bob brings to the Company his broad business experience and contacts in Brazil. In addition, he has a great knowledge and understanding of the geology and exploration potential of Brazil. This, along with Bob’s vast world-wide experience making deals with senior and junior mining companies will be vital to the next phase of the development and growth of the Company.”

In addition, the Company announces the resignation of Jay Goldman from the Company’s Board of Directors. Jim Clucas stated “We very much appreciate Jay’s significant contribution as a director and look forward to Jay’s continuing association with the Company as our legal counsel.”
INV is a Canadian mineral resource company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of nickel projects in Brazil. Its primary asset is an option to acquire, with 73% partner and operator, Teck Cominco, a 75% interest in two advanced-stage nickel laterite deposits, Santa Fé and Iporá, in the Goiás nickel camp of Brazil.
